DWV – Deutscher Wellenreit Verband - German Surfing Association
The DWV is an union of every association in Germany which is interested in the practice and supporting of surf sports. As the national umbrella organization the DWV is member of the E.S.F. (European Surfing Federation) and the I.S.A. (International Surfing Association).
As the athletic authority concerning surf sports the DWV offers well grounded experiences in judging and contesting.
In collaboration with the international umbrella organizations E.S.F. and I.S.A. the DWV aims to support the active practice of surfing and it’s related disciplines as well as controlling and coordinating the necessarily basic conditions.
Stand Up Paddling (SUP) as a sport has been officially approved as a surf sport by the International Surfing Association (I.S.A) and has been admitted as an own discipline. As accredited national umbrella organisation the DWV is owner of the exclusive rights of the sport Stand Up Paddling in Germany.
German Surfing Association (DWV) accompanies the JEVER SUP World Cup Hamburg 2010 und die JEVER German SUP Tour 2010 afresh as the professional partner.
The experts of the association have been developing the competitions in the run-up to the events and are qualified contact persons for every functional question. During the events the DWV will implement the course of action of the challenges.

SUP Event- & Legal infrastructure in Germany
The experts of the association have developed following event structure for Germany. The DWV gave the rights for every international (incl. World Championship, European Championship) and the most important national SUP Events (incl. German Championship) in Germany to ACT AGENCY GmbH for the years 2010 until 2012.
